Not all ciders are created equal! Bulwark Handcrafted Ciders are made from 100% Scotian Gold NS Apples, pressed, fermented, and bottled right on site at our winery in New Ross, NS.
Did you know? Many popular cider brands use less than 20% apple juice? They can be over 80% water, combined with apple concentrate, flavoring agents, sugar and water.

Trustmark
The Grade A Cider Trustmark’s three core pillars are traceability, authenticity and integrity. Ciders trace their apples back to a specific orchard region. Cider-makers embrace honest labelling and have direct onsite control and involvement in operations, and they produce cider with 100% fresh pressed apple juice and wine-like fermentation.
Cider-makers meeting the Grade A Cider Trustmark criteria must be independent. Their end-to-end onsite processes will guarantee full traceability and quality control. This includes pressing, production and packaging.
